Our Story

A home away from home, since 1988

For over three decades, Sri Purushottam Bhakta Nivas has opened its doors to lakhs of devotees arriving in the holy town of Puri to seek the darshan of Lord Jagannath, Balabhadra and Subhadra. What began as a small seva by a family of devotees has grown into a trusted Bhakta Nivas, without ever losing its temple-town warmth.

Every room here is kept simple, clean and quiet — built for pilgrims, not tourists. Our staff understands the rhythm of a yatra: early mangala aarti darshans, long queues, tired feet, and the need for a peaceful place to rest between temple visits. That understanding is in every detail, from our ground-floor rooms for elders to our dining hall serving food untouched by onion and garlic, exactly as offered in a sattvic home.
